Student Uniform

“Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?” (1-Corinthians 6:19). This should be reflected in our dress.
The way in which you dress is a sign of your respect for yourself as well as a mark of respect for those with whom you associate. Your personal appearance is important to your own mature development as a person. You should dress to fit the occasion. Lumen Christi is not a fashion center; it is a school. The unique, unusual, and weird distract students from their school work.
Neatness and cleanliness are important for self-respect and good health. It is important to remember that the Student Dress Code is a guideline for students, parents, and teachers in order for all concerned to understand what is considered proper dress for Lumen Christi Catholic School. However, at all times the Administration reserves the right to decide whether a student, or group of students, is in proper dress. The Administration also reserves the right to make changes to the dress code, as it deems necessary.
